Join us Thursday, September 10 for a special homeschool day in partnership with the Cole Land Transportation Museum!

9:30–11:30 AM — Junior Curator at Cole Museum
Students in grades K–5 become junior curators, complete with white gloves, real museum artifacts, clues, teamwork, and plenty of investigating.

12:30–2:30 PM — Exploration Lab at Challenger Maine
Students in grades 1–5 will explore the science and engineering behind human spaceflight through hands-on activities in electronics, renewable energy, materials science, geology, physiology, robotics, and more. They'll also get to work in our Mission Control and Space Lab simulators!

The best part? It's FREE!
Space is limited to 30 students.

Parents, drop-off is encouraged! Need to run errands? Go for it. Want to hang out at the museum during the morning session or relax in our Multipurpose Room during the afternoon? We've got you covered. Parents are welcome to stay if their student needs reading assistance or additional support.

One important note: Families are responsible for transportation between the Cole Museum and Challenger for the lunch break.
