- **Event Description**: We are happy to announce a special tour on Thursday, April 30th at 4pm.

2026 is the 115th anniversary of Bangor’s Great Fire of 1911.  We will be walking the path of the fire from its start and spread to downtown Bangor.  Using pictures taken before, during, and just after the fire, we will see how the city rebuilt and changed after the historic event.  The tour will stop inside the Downtown Bangor Welcome Center on Exchange Street to view additional images and artifacts from the Fire.

This is a free walking tour for members and $10 for non-members.  Space is limited to the first 20 registrants.

The tour starts in Broad Street Park across from Sandollar Spa &amp; Pool at 193 Broad Street at 4PM.  Parking is available on Broad Street.
