Blast Off Bash gives future engineers, scientists, and astronauts the chance to build and launch a real Estes Cosmic Ray model rocket while learning about aerodynamics, propulsion, and flight.

Choose Your Launch Day & Time:

Wednesday, August 19
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Saturday, August 22
9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

For every launch window, you have TWO ticket options:

Take Home Rocket Kit ($15)
Pick up your Estes Cosmic Ray Rocket Kit before the event, build it at home at your own pace, then bring it to Blast Off Bash ready for launch! After registering, you'll receive an email with rocket kit pickup dates, times, and locations.

Build On Site Rocket Kit ($15)
Build your rocket during the event with help from Challenger STEM educators and volunteers before heading to the launch field to watch it soar.

Every ticket includes:

Access to launch activities
A chance to learn the science behind rocketry
