Black Friday Banner Making

We will be making banners on Wednesday the 26th Nov, for a Banner drop in Bangor on the 27th.

Black Friday promotes over-consumption and is bad for people and planet. It causes a huge spike in carbon emissions as products we don't need are shipped out of warehouses and often back again as the majority is returned a few days later. Then an estimated 80% of things bought on black Friday end up in the bin.

We say NO to the endless cycle of consumerism, NO to over consumption of our planet's precious resources, and NO to Black Friday!

All welcome to join us for banner making and/or the banner drop. Bring along spare paint, paintbrushes fabric and string if you have them, but there will be plenty to share around. St. John's Church, next to Lidl on the High Street in Bamgor
