BHS Presents: Stephen King's 'Christine" in Mount Hope Cemetery

Join Us for an Unforgettable Evening Under the Stars!

The Bangor Historical Society invites you to a spine-chilling outdoor movie night at the historic Mount Hope Cemetery. This year's feature film is Stephen King's classic horror, Christine. Immerse yourself in the eerie atmosphere of one of Bangor's most iconic locations, where Stephen King himself found inspiration for his chilling tales.

Date: Wednesday, August 20th
Time: Gates open at 6:30pm movie starts at 8pm
Location: Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor, ME, *The movie will be shown in the field along the left-hand side of the 1048 State Street entrance to the cemetery*

BHS member ticket sales start on Tuesday, July 22nd at 1pm.
Members will receive a special link in their email to purchase tickets.

Public ticket sales start on Thursday, July 24th at 1pm.

Tickets are $15/Person


Parking is not available in the cemetery for this event. Parking is available at United Technologies Center(200 Hogan Road). We will have buses transport people to and from the cemetery starting at 6:30pm. The final bus will depart for the cemetery at 7:45pm. Buses will leave Mount Hope after the conclusion of the movie.

There is a designated drop off/ pick up area outside the 1048 State Street gate to the cemetery.

We will have concessions for purchase.

What to Bring: Lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

*No outside food or drinks.

*No coolers or large backpacks allowed.

*Smoking, consuming alcohol, and drug use is prohibited on cemetery grounds. Those found in violation will be removed from the movie with no refunds!
