If the thought of waiting in long lines makes you sweat, fret not. These skip-the-line tickets will give you access to one of Thailand’s most beautiful structures, the Grand Palace. Built in 1782 by King Rama Ⅰ, the Palace has been the official residence of the Royals of Siam for centuries. The intricate carvings, the vibrant mosaics, and the golden spires are a true testament to Thai architecture and craftsmanship. However, one of Thailand's biggest joys is the shining Emerald Buddha enclosed in a glass case in Wat Phra Kaew, which will surely inspire a sense of serenity in you.
If you love everything fashion and royal, then step into the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles built by the Queen Mother to promote and preserve traditional Thai textiles. Don’t forget to check out the Decades of Style exhibition, which showcases the Queen Mother’s stylish wardrobe choices over the decades.
Round off your day at the Palace with a traditional Khon performance at the Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre. Originally limited to the royal court, today Khon is seen all over the country as a symbol of Thai culture and pride. The show features masked dancers bringing the story and characters of Ramakien (Thai version of Ramayana) to life.
