จากเทศกาล ‘ข้าว’ ครั้งนี้ขยายสู่ ‘เทศกาลอาหาร’ อย่างเต็มรูปแบบ เพื่อเล่าเรื่องความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างข้าว กับข้าว ผู้คน และชุมชน ผ่านการกินจริง ชิมจริง และพบเจอผู้ปลูก-ผู้ปรุงจริง

ในห้วงเวลาที่หลายคนเชื่อว่าการกินดีมีราคาแพงและเข้าถึงยาก งานนี้คือคำตอบว่า อาหารดีอยู่ใกล้ตัวกว่าที่คิด

ในงานจะได้ชิมอาหารจากกว่า 60 ร้าน ตั้งแต่ครัวชุมชนที่นำวัตถุดิบรอบนามาปรุงเมนูประจำถิ่น ร้านเชฟผู้ใช้ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ชูอัตลักษณ์วัตถุดิบไทย ไปจนถึงร้านอาหารชื่อดังที่สร้างเมนูเฉพาะในงานด้วย ‘ข้าวไทยสายพันธุ์พิเศษ’ ที่น้อยคนจะรู้จัก 

กิจกรรมในงานจึงหลากหลายทั้งรสชาติและความรู้ ตั้งแต่ข้าวแกง TasteLab ที่พารู้จักข้าวแต่ละพันธุ์ผ่านเมนูกับข้าว Live Podcast รายการ Eat Direction คุยสดเรื่องการเลือกซื้อของเข้าบ้าน เวิร์กช็อป Home Cooking Class สำหรับคนที่อยากกินดีโดยไม่ต้องเพิ่มค่าใช้จ่าย จนถึง Sato Pavilion พื้นที่เล่าเรื่องภูมิปัญญาการหมักของไทย และ Food & Goods Mart ตลาดรวมวัตถุดิบดีจากทั่วประเทศให้ซื้อกลับบ้านได้ทันที

งานนี้ไม่เพียงชวนคนมากินดีเท่านั้น แต่ยังผลักดันความยั่งยืนในระบบอาหาร ด้วยการจัดกิจกรรม Rice Matching เพื่อจับคู่เกษตรกรผู้ปลูกข้าวอย่างปลอดภัยกับผู้ประกอบการร้านอาหารให้ได้ร่วมงานกันระยะยาว และปิดท้ายด้วยการมอบรางวัล Farmer of The Year เชิดชูเกษตรกรต้นแบบที่สร้างนวัตกรรมให้วงการข้าวไทยเดินไปข้างหน้าอย่างมั่นคง

นี่ไม่ใช่เพียงเทศกาลอาหาร แต่คือพื้นที่ให้เรากลับมาดูว่า ข้าวที่เรากินอยู่ทุกวันมาจากที่ใด และเราจะทำให้ระบบอาหารดีขึ้นได้อย่างไร เริ่มต้นจากข้าวในจานของเราเอง
