NOTHING IS REALLY SOMETHING:
the power of space and patience in a tightly packed world.
So I have just one question - why do people keep packing their lives with more and more distractions, yet claim to seek peace, simplicity and stability?
Lets see what Buddhism says about this, and what you say too.
__________
Everyone is welcome, from beginners to experienced meditators. We meet to support and encourage each other in our practice.
Baan Aree is a Thai Buddhist Center, please dress modestly.
___________
As is usual with Buddhist teachings, there is no charge for this event. However, the Little Bangkok Sangha follows the Buddhist custom of Dana (generosity). The teachings and the venue are offered as an act of generosity, and those receiving them can, if they wish, reciprocate by making donations.
All donations this day will go to our group funds - we have a few expenses coming up for our Meetup fees (approx 10,000THB), and Domain Name fees (approx 4000 TBB for 5 yrs). We don't often do this - we really try to provide everything for free. But occasionally we do need your help.
