Created by Thai artist Sutarath Sinnong (Tom), Loop is a beautiful shadow performance that blends light, shadow, movement, and music into a hypnotic visual experience. With no fixed plot, the piece invites audiences to immerse themselves in an ever-evolving world where objects, people, and materials shift and intertwine, forming poetic and fleeting images.
Sutarath, founder of Homemade Puppet, has spent over a decade exploring the magic of shadow theatre, crafting performances that are both simple and deeply captivating. Loop premiered at the Bangkok Theatre Festival 2022, where it was well received for its enchanting and immersive storytelling, leaving audiences mesmerised by its quiet beauty.

การแสดงเรื่อง Loop เป็นผลงานการแสดงละครเงา (Shadow Theatre) ของ ต้อม สุธารัตน์ สินนอง ศิลปินชาวไทยผู้ก่อตั้ง Homemade Puppet การแสดงชิ้นนี้เปิดตัวครั้งแรกในเทศกาลละครกรุงเทพฯ พ.ศ. 2565 ณ หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร และได้รับเสียงตอบรับที่ยอดเยี่ยมจากผู้ชม People of Ari จึงได้คัดเลือกการแสดงนี้มาเป็นส่วนของโปรแกรม Beauty in the Dark ที่จะจัดขึ้นที่ PoA White Box, Yellow Lane ช่วงปลายเดือนเมษายนนี้
โดยการแสดงเรื่อง Loop ไม่มีโครงเรื่องที่ตายตัว แต่เชิญชวนให้ห้ผู้ชมได้ดำดิ่งเข้าสู่โลกที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอยู่ตลอดเวลา ซึ่งวัตถุ ผู้คน และวัสดุต่าง ๆ เคลื่อนไหวและหลอมรวมกันเป็นภาพที่งดงามสมือนบทกวี เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ชมได้สำรวจ และตีความในแบบของตนเอง
