(Patcharaporn Kwansangwan), an independent artist based in Thailand. Inspired by her illustrated picture book Where’s a Home?, this exhibition expands the story into a multi-sensory journey of light, sound, and installation art. Spread across both floors of our creative space, originally a family home in Ari, the exhibition transforms each area into a metaphorical pathway of self-discovery. Audiences are invited to walk through the spaces as though moving through the rooms of their own inner home, reflecting on the questions: What’s a home? Where’s a home? Who’s a home? Alongside the exhibition, Home within Home will also feature curated programs including music, theatre performances, and themed workshops, extending the experience into a living dialogue between art, body, and community. Since childhood, she has dreamed of creating her own picture books as a way to narrate personal stories and perspectives on life. Her practice centres on analogue techniques such as hand painting and paper collage, with a distinctive use of light as a symbol of hope. Many of her works are created by arranging materials into miniature theatre-like settings, which are then photographed to become the final artwork. This process reflects her belief that “some truths only reveal themselves when light shines through.” Beyond illustration and installation, her. also creates interactive art objects such as prints, postcards, handmade journals, and zines. Many of these works are designed to be touched, unfolded, or played with, allowing audiences to experience art in a more intimate and participatory way. For her, art is not only something to be observed, but something to live with and carry into everyday life.
