Visual Facilitation for Groups

The aim of this one day workshop is to introduce participants to the power of visual thinking and how to apply these techniques to enhance creative thinking and communication when working with groups.

Through basic drawing exercises and activities, this workshop will help participants gain confidence to draw in public and discover creative ways to increase group engagement and participation.

Visual facilitation is the use of creating basic drawings to lead a group or individual towards a goal. By customising the process in a visual form we allow for new thoughts and ideas to formulate. Seeing the big picture helps us gain further insights. We increase shared understanding to create engagement within a group. Visual thinking encourages us to change the way we approach a problem.

Some of the topics that will be covered:

• increase participation and engagement
• improve retention of key concepts
• facilitation templates to boost collaboration and decision making
• create meaningful connections to foster insights, group alignment

Participants do not need to know how to draw.
All they need is a desire to learn and think creatively in a friendly environment.
