Imagine an evening brimming with a confluence of ghazals, poems and nazms, where 3 poets bring in their best Hindi and English verses and weave it into a magical expression. Of love, longing and life.

Lahe Lahe invites you to Triveni - a mesmerising evening featuring 3 of Bangalore’s versatile poets Veerendra Shivhare, Deevas Gupta and Chandrama Deshmukh. So if you are a poet, poetry lover or have ever scribbled on the last page of that hidden diary, be a part of this poetic euphoria on 17th June 2018, from 5.30 - 7.30 pm.

About the poets:

Chandrama Deshmukh: Chandrama is a writer by profession and poet by passion. She will read from her recently published a book of poems ‘Moonlit Monochrome. A storyteller of sorts, the moon is her muse. Poetry for Chandrama is that one streak of silver lining amidst the chaos of life. Being an avid reader, photography enthusiast and a part-time playwright, she believes nothing touches her soul the way poetry does.

Veerendra Shivhare: Veerendra Shivhare weaves simple yet profound thoughts into captivating Urdu/Hindustani poetry. His soul-stirring verses give a glimpse of an intense yearning that each one of us is familiar with. Being a serial entrepreneur, ghazal aficionado, spiritual seeker and urdu poetry lover, ‘existence- in it’s purest form' Veer's undeterred muse and meaning.

Deevas Gupta: A poet, writer and an aspiring actor on his path of self exploration. Deevas Gupta, exploring his love for theatre and acting surfaced through writing, primarily in Hindustani, is a co founder of Saarthak Productions, one of the well known theatre groups in Bangalore. He started writing poetry around 15 yrs back. He feels that poetry is not merely an expression of thought instead, it has been that creative medium which has always brought revolution in every generation. He has written Hindustani plays and acted in several English and Hindi plays too.
