So when Bumblefoot of Guns N` Roses came to India, it was 2Blue he performed with. As did Paul Di`Anno of Iron Maiden, George Lynch of Dokken, and Jonas Hellborg of Mahavishnu Orchestra. Other accolades? `Best Band` at Hungama, India and `Song Of The Year` at AVIMA, Asia. But his most significant career milestone was playing Judas in `Jesus Christ Superstar.` The role was demanding but 2Blue was in very capable hands. These were the hands of Shiamak Davar, Sabira Merchant, and Alyque Padamsee. In the words of these legends, "2Blue is an attitude. He is a muscular statement like a raised fist." 2Blue is currently prepping for his performance at Hard Rock Cafe, St. Marks Road, Bangalore. For Indian engineers, doctors, and business professionals who were born in the `80s and raised on indie rock, it`s emotional. Because this is the artist they laughed and cried with when they were young. This is who they connected with on MySpace and Orkut when they needed a friend.
