Noted drummer/composer/producer Thomas Strønen’s Time is a blind guide is a true chamber music ensemble with some of the finest jazz musicians from Europe and Japan. Their stunning and
compelling compositions draw lines from traditional folk music to contemporary music. Their music combines the varied musician's backgrounds - from jazz, contemporary, classical and folk, into a
mesmerizing world of depth, enchanting rhythms and beautiful melodies.

The ensemble will perform among others, their tunes from their 2nd album & "Lucus" which was recorded in the spring of 2017 at the marvellous Radio Auditorium RSI in Lugano with ECM master
Manfred Eicher - A true master work! "Lucus" was released by ECM in January 2018 to standing ovations.
TIABG will be joined by 2 featured guests: distinguished Hawaiian slide guitar Maestro, Dr. Prakash Sontakke and percussionist artiste Karthik Mani.
Together, their music is best described as Chamber music meeting Nordic jazz and Indian Classical/folk - with a strong, melodic character, underlying challenging rhythms, textures and
vocals; combining the elements important to Strønen's writing; which often includes a string trio, a
piano trio and sometimes a percussion ensemble.
