|| About the performance ||
Vishesh Kalimero will be playing strings from around the world for us and use unheard voice techniques to give us a tribal meditative experience bringing together folk traditions from around the world. The sounds would range from Alaska, Norway, Russia, Mongolia, China, Afghanistan, Middle East, Africa, Indonesia, India and mixed with the style of Vishesh to give it a feeling of the old and new.
The concert will be totally improvised and music created in and for the moment to create an intimate and open space for us to journey on deep plains with these organic sounds and instruments.
|| About the performer ||
Vishesh Kalimero is a musician, sound therapist and workshop leader from Delhi who has been traveling for the last 9 years in search of self. He has worked with various indigenous therapies in South America and North east India. His vision is to share the meeting of the old and new, the meeting of shamanism and contemporary ways and to share the healing properties of sound and how it can trigger the subconscious. He has performed and facilitated workshops extensively in Norway, Sweden, Poland, Japan and Guatemala.
