John McLaughlin and the 4th Dimension

Also known as Mahavishnu John McLaughlin, he is an English guitarist, bandleader and composer. His music includes many genres of jazz, and rock, which he coupled with an interest in Indian classical music to become one of the pioneering figures in fusion. Many of his peers have called him the greatest guitarist alive. Fourth Dimension is his latest project featuring the globe’s best musicians Etienne Mbappe on Bass, Ranjit Barot on Drum and Gary Husband on Keyboards and Percussion. John McLaughlin & the 4th Dimension have recently released an album titled Black Light, and this gig is in support of his album tour with the last date of in Bangalore. This is the first time that this band is making an appearance in Bangalore.
