Aatman Festival of Wellness


LshVa Space, supported by Raadha Kalpa dance company is hosting a three day festival of wellness and yoga to celebrate World Yoga day.

The instructors are all well known in their areas of expertise and bring various perspectives to train the body and mind.

DATES:
July 27th, 28th

FEE:
Rs 2200/- (for all days)

Rs 1500/- ( Single day)



Venue:
LshVa Studios, Koramangala

Bring: A yoga mat, Water bottle, towel, change of clothes.

(A roller and tennis ball if you have)

Wear: Comfortable clothes





Day 1

July 27th

6:30 – 8 am – Warm up and basic Yoga by Mr Daya.

8am – 9:30 am – Ninja Movements by Mr Devrath.

10 – 11: 30 am – Acro yoga by Mr Amaresh.

11:30 – 1pm – Resistance training by Mr Somya.



1:30 onwards – Individual massage sessions for 15 minutes at a small fee of rupees 150 for interested participants.



Day 2

July 28th

6:30 – 8 am – Warm up and Vinyasa Yoga by Mr Daya.

8am – 9:30 am – Acro yoga by Mr Amaresh.

10 – 11: 30 am – Ninja Movements by Mr Devrath.

11:30 – 1pm – Band work and release by Mr Somya.



1:30 onwards – Individual massage sessions for 15 minutes at a small fee of rupees 150 for interested participants.



Class details:


Vinyasa yoga: Led by Dayanathan is a slow practice focusing on mindfulness, breathwork and alignment. Vinyasa flow yoga is a total body workout that stimulates your core muscles and tones your arms while you seamlessly move from one posture to another.



Ninja Movements: Devrath specialises with Ninja Training. Its a creative movement program that draws from martial arts, acrobatics, and parkour. We are sure you will enjoy doing the rolls, kicks and jumps as much as we do!


Hatha Yoga : Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation. Be prepared for a wonderful meditation session and pranayamas along with several yoga postures.

Somya's class would include self-myofascial release and band workout for mobility and stability.



Instructors:

Devrath Vijay:

Devrath is a pioneer in the fitness industry in India and is slowly bringing about a much-needed revolution. The industry is going through a positive change in the last few years and trainers are understanding the need to be well educated in the field in order to excel. Fitness enthusiasts are realizing the difference between human performance and aesthetics.
As an IFAA (International Fitness and Aerobics Association) Master Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) he educates and certifies trainers in various parts of India. He helps people understand what it means to be functionally fit and how that can go a long way in helping you lead an uncompromising and active life!



Dayanathan:

Daya is a life loving yogi who began practising the art of yoga from school days at his early years of life when he was in 6th standard. He received his 200 Hours Hatha Vinyasa Yoga teacher training certification in 2013 and later in 2014, he completed his 300 Hours Hatha Vinyasa Yoga teacher training certification. Both the certifications he received from one of the pioneer yoga shala in Banagalore called Aatmayan Yoga Academy, which is from the Satyananda tradition.
Daya is an incredibly commited yogi, he focuses on mindfulness, breathwork, alignment and leading students on a path to trust their own internal teacher. Daya strongly believes that Yoga is for everyone, whether you are a spiritual seeker or a fitness enthusiast what matters the most is the Intention.



Amaresh:

Amaresh is a well-known Yoga master who resides in Bengaluru, India. He has been teaching Yoga for the past six years. He has completed his M.Sc in Yogic Sciences. With a passion for dance, theatre and degrees from Ninasam and Attakalari, Amaresh emphasizes fluidic movement in his teaching. Over 4,000 students have learn’t yoga from Amaresh. He specializes in Hatha Yoga, Asana props.



Somya Rout:

A physiotherapist and founder of Stairs Physio therapy clinic. Somya has trained and conditioned athletes for various, tennis cricket and football teams at the national level. His approach to training is conscientious, methodical and practical. He has the ability to adapt training methodologies for specific requirements and meet the needs of elite athletes as well as ordinary people needing to lead a happier healthier life.
