- **Event Description**: Onalea is a multidisciplinary creator, performer, puppeteer, director & recording artist.  As a music and theatre artist, Onalea has performed numerous roles worldwide in both the traditional and the avant-garde. Onalea was a resident of the McKittrick Hotel in the role of Hecate in the hit show Sleep No More in New York City.

She hosted and performed at the Bell Grandstand show at the Calgary Stampede for an audience of 20,000 people nightly.

A consummate crossover artist, Onalea's original work is a unique blend of music and the theatrical.   An accomplished vocalist, she has sung with everything from trio to chamber ensembles, symphony orchestras, and big bands. She has recorded five albums, ranging from big band to jazz standards, electronica to original material.  As a director, she specializes in new work and integrating multi-genre performance styles and communities.

Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is excited to bring together world-renowned musicians, artists, and writers, as well as passionate audiences for the 2026 Banff Centre Summer Arts Festival. Running throughout May to September, the 2026 festival invites audiences to experience a season of artistic discovery of over 100 free and ticketed events. Tickets are now available for the 2026 Banff Centre Summer Arts Festival! 

Banff Centre's club for summer weekend nights returns. With regular programming from June through August, come to CLVB '33 for a refreshing drink, a tasty bite, impeccable vibes, live music, cabaret, jazz jams, DJs, karaoke, readings, and Peak Laughs comedy series.
