- **Event Description**: Join us for a tranquil day of 'plein air' painting in Upton's summer garden in a relaxed and friendly workshop suitable for all abilities, from beginners to seasoned artists looking for a new challenge.

We will draw inspiration from the colours, shapes and textures of the gardens designed in the 1930s with its dramatic series of terraces with herbaceous planting.

Local artist Lizzie Bentley will provide creative guidance and demonstrate techniques to help you capture the gardens in your own style in the paint medium of your choice.

Tea and coffee will be provided, and we will break for lunch where attendees are welcome to enjoy a delicious light lunch in our Pavilion Cafe or bring their own packed lunch. Please note, lunch is not included in the ticket price.
