One of the UK’s most rewarding — and challenging — cycling events returns for 2026.
The Broughton Castle Sportive invites riders to take on the rolling hills and testing climbs of the Cotswolds, setting off from the gates of historic Broughton Castle. With routes from 40km to 200km, every course offers its own test of endurance, grit, and determination — from fast descents to steep ascents that will push even the most experienced riders.
For those chasing a real challenge, the 200km Cotswold Monster is among the toughest sportive routes in the country, combining over 2,800m of elevation with stunning scenery and unrivalled support on the road.
Every pedal stroke counts. Since 2010, the event has raised more than £106,000 for local charities and Rotary community projects — turning effort into real impact.
