In a very special AWP offsite gathering, Wednesday Night Poetry, the longest running consecutive weekly open mic series in the country, convenes at an incredible and iconic art space--the historic Patterson Theater at Creative Alliance. 3134 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD, 21224.

Come read a poem and kick off AWP with friends! This is a soft and SAFE SPACE to land. Doors will open at 5:30pm for socializing and community.

Open Mic style. One poem per poet, 3-4 min, any theme. Poets will read from 6:30-10:30pm. Come to share a poem, stay for community and togetherness. Wine and refreshments will be provided.

Creative Alliance is located 2.8 miles away from the Baltimore Convention Center, a 12-15 minute drive, depending on traffic. It is 14 miles from the airport if you are coming directly from your flight. Ride-share, Uber, Lyft, carpooling is highly encouraged. Save money! Be safe!
