Because of the profound importance of what better parenting can mean for the Baltimore City community, the Herbert Bearman Foundation is generously sponsoring a day of learning at the American Visionary Art Museum, but exclusively targeted for the enrichment of the area's front-line, grassroots providers of child and whole family services. The “Bearman Baltimore Best Parenting Retreat” will permit real digestion of expert learning from the prior day's Logan Visionary Conference: The Art of Parenting by welcoming the staff from all our area's main better parenting players, together under one roof, in an unprecedented shared experience. AVAM will engage them in a brunch, interactive learning session, complimentary private tour of the museum's original exhibition, "PARENTING: An Art Without A Manual,” and provide Better Parenting 101 materials, all to permit intimate learning from top experts as to how each local service provider can apply best practice parenting wisdom strategies to their own sincere efforts and on behalf of their most in need clients. AVAM founder Rebecca Hoffberger, explains, "We wanted to harness the expert learned star power of the SUNDAY Logan Conference to gather, benefit, inspire, and thank all the hardworking area parent/child professional community as pure gift to them." The retreat is free, but due to limited space, registration is required.
