                "description": "The Black Genius Art Show is a collection of original artwork created by Bryan Robinson.  He compares his work to a mixture of the Mona Lisa and the cartoon strips of a newspaper.The illustrations are inspired by what Robinson feels the universe presents before him through family, friends, society, quotes and the rhythms of culture.'  Simplicity serves as the driving force that births his vast array of characters.The images are given life amidst a bay front window, scattered paints, the occasional Monster energy drink and an eclectic music arrangement from a nearby iMac computer.  The process, if ever observed can be quite the show.  One painting can go from a laid out solid idea to being scratched, painted over in white and transformed into a completely different subject matter.  Robinson considers some of his best pieces as adaptations of creative mistakes.  He feels it gives each piece a bit of history.Under the motto Create Everyday, Robinson has over 100 original illustrations (acrylic/oil based paintings), a Garment Line based off of his unique characters and an animated project in the works.This event will be an experience you do not want to miss!"
