Regulating Technology Use: Tips & Tricks for Children with Autism
This training is to provide information on the positive and negative effects of technology use, review the 2016 American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations of media use in children, and discuss implementing techniques and strategies to regulate electronic use at home.

Discuss realistic implementation of screen time at home and how to effectively decrease screen time.
Presenters: Hilary May, MS, CCC-SLP and Marissa Houdek, MS, CCC-SLP are speech-language pathologists at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD). Over their years at CARD, they have each participated in a variety of programs including Achievements, Early Achievements, individual treatment programming, and team evaluations. They have training in both augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and using technology to promote children's communication.
