What can we salvage from the past? How can we ensure these histories move forward with us?Through research, craft, materiality & performance, our 10 collections by MICA students explore what it means to acknowledge our roots as artists and take them into the future.The 32nd Annual Benefit Fashion Show will be run both April 17th & 18th starting at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30. The show on the 18th will be preceded by a Community Marketplace featuring local, alum, and student vendors, and both shows will feature an exhibition outside the Falvey auditorium with artwork from the Baltimore Design School.All proceeds from MICA's Annual Benefit Fashion Show support the Dr. Frankie Martin Fund. Dr. Frankie Martin founded the Annual Benefit Fashion Show, in partnership with the Black Student Union, to showcase and highlight the beauty of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
