Join us for an unforgettable evening with Ray Winder, one of Baltimore’s most exciting rising voices. A saxophonist, flutist, vocalist, and composer, Ray brings a genre-blending sound she lovingly calls “Dream Grudge”—an enticing mix of jazz, alternative R&B, rock, and her own unique soul.
Performing with her trio, Ray’s music is expressive, cinematic, and deeply rooted in her Baltimore upbringing. A Peabody Conservatory alum and recipient of the Noble Levi Jolley, Sr. Jazz Studies Scholarship, Ray has shared the stage with ensembles like the New World Outreach Jazz Orchestra, Benny Russell Jazz Orchestra, and the David Murray Baltimore Big Band. She has also collaborated with artists including Ivy Sole, DDm, and Kamelah, while steadily building a reputation as both a powerful performer and a dedicated educator through her work with the BSO’s OrchKids program.
With an enchanting voice, remarkable presence, and an ever-evolving artistry, Ray Winder is a force to watch. Don’t miss this chance to hear her live in an intimate setting with her trio.
✨ Settle in, and let the music carry you.
