A Peabody Conservatory alum and recipient of the Noble Levi Jolley, Sr. Jazz Studies Scholarship, Ray has shared the stage with ensembles like the New World Outreach Jazz Orchestra, Benny Russell Jazz Orchestra, and the David Murray Baltimore Big Band. She has also collaborated with artists including Ivy Sole, DDm, and Kamelah, while steadily building a reputation as both a powerful performer and a dedicated educator through her work with the BSO’s OrchKids program.
