I’ve been carrying around a copy of Julia Cameron’s ‘The Artist’s Way’ creative workbook for over fifteen years and have decided now is finally the time to do it. I would love to open this opportunity to the Patterson Park neighbors and share this experience with others who may be craving a way to connect (or reconnect) with their creative/artistic selves.

The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron is a 12-week program designed to help people unlock their creativity through a series of exercises, tools, and guidance, focusing on overcoming blocks like fear, self-sabotage, and limiting beliefs. Key practices include "Morning Pages" (three pages of stream-of-consciousness writing) and "Artist Dates" (solo outings to nurture creativity). The book aims to help readers rediscover their passions and connect with their inner artist, regardless of their current creative skill

I have outlined the tentative Thursday schedule below (I will be traveling during the off weeks) starting with July 16th.

So if changes need to be made to the schedule, we can totally adjust. 

We will meet at 6:30pm at the Observatory. 

I’ve never hosted anything like this before but I am excited to give it a try, see what comes of it, and meet more wonderful neighbors.

Copies of the book are sold in most places where books are sold, borrow from the library, as well as electronic versions on Libby/Kindle or Audible.
