Help the crew raise the sails and navigate the boat. The SIGSBEE crew will teach you alittle about the role of the oyster in our local ecosystem and the important work being done for oyster conservation in the Chesapeake Bay. Happy Hour spread featuring locally farmed oysters on the half shell, sustainably sourced shrimp cocktail & other snacks for our vegetarian guests. This cruise will offer beer & wine from local breweries, wineries & distributors.Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. Open to guests 21 and older only; Tickets are non-refundable. We have a rain date scheduled for this event on Saturday August 22 aboard the skipjack SIGSBEE from 6โ€“8pm. If we need to cancel for weather or safety reasons, we will transfer folks' tickets to the rain date. No refunds will be given.During the April to November sailing season, the Living Classrooms historic ships offer unique hands-on sailing adventures for students, youth groups, and adults from all over Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. A portion of the ticket sales will directly support our educational programming for local school groups in Baltimore and Washington, DC.Visitors with limited mobility will be accommodated as best as we can.
