With a love for ethnomusicology, she hopes to enlighten the world to the music of BIPOC composers and further experiment with stretching the boundaries of harmony, space, and color in her own music.Kevin Brewster is a saxophonist, composer, bandleader, and educator from Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a leader, he performs with his ensemble Black Renaissance, a collective dedicated to expanding the narrative of Black American Music through original compositions and new interpretations. As a sideman, Kevin has performed alongside artists such as Terri Lyne Carrington, Christian Sands, Jazzmeia Horn, and Patrice Rushen.
