She is the author of Understanding Yoga Therapy: Applied Philosophy and Science for Health and Well-being and Yoga and Science in Pain Care as well as the new book with Amy Wheeler, Applying Therapeutic Yoga in Integrative Health. She is involved in research and has authored peer-reviewed articles on the neurophysiological and philosophical framework for yoga with a focus on pain and co-occurring PTSD as well as in clinical populations including chronic pain, low back pain, osteoarthritis, and cognitive decline/dementia.
