Sessions cover logic models, program design, and finding the right funders, led by facilitators who've helped win $50M+ in grant awards.Session 1 Logic Models:In Session 1: Logic Models, we provide guidance on how logic models are strategic plans, workplans, evaluation frameworks, and a grant outline all built into a single page! Join us to see for yourself how one simple tool can be leveraged in so many ways. Because it is such an invaluable tool for all that follows, we introduce the grant institute for program design and grant writing with the mighty logic model.Learning Objective:• Create a logic model for your organization for effective program and project design and development• Develop a logic model suitable for a grant application.Session 2 Program Design:In Session 2: Program activities, we focus on quality program design. We provide guidance for careful and comprehensive planning that ensures your activities are implemented effectively reaching your target audience with the desired impact. Quality program design involves intentional planning identifying the roles and effort required of staff or volunteers, carefully thinking through the content of the activities including location and timing, conscientiously assessing the full cost of the activity, and integrating regular tracking. Developing this detailed plan will translate directly into the content for a quality grant proposal.Learning Objective:• Plan program activities and implementation plans to effective reach your target audience and achieve the organization’s target outcomes.• Collect and organize the content needed for the activities and timeline/workplan sections of a grant applicationSession 3-Finding FundersDescription:In Session 3: Finding Funders, we will provide detailed guidance and free resources so that your organization can identify funders interested in the work of your organization. This session uses the Foundation Directory Online, a funder database accessible to nonprofits at no cost at public libraries and other locations. We share with you approaches to identify funders that are a good match for your mission, activities, and capacity to complete the required proposal. This session also includes a comprehensive grant seeking planner to track grant applications and once awarded, reports.Learning Objective:• Identify funders that meet the needs and capacity of your organization
