As machines become increasingly more intelligent it will become harder to distinguish between artificial intelligence and the real thing. Rabbi Jonathan Gross, author of Ai Vey! Jewish Thought on Thinking Machines, explores the potential spiritual crisis posed by rapid changes in technology.

About the Rabbi
For ten years Jonathan Gross was the Chief Rabbi of the State of Nebraska. One of the many creative innovations he speared in Nebraska was Good Shabbos Nebraska, the world’s first ever, highest rated, and longest running Synagogue Talk Show Program which Rabbi Gross created, produced, and hosted.
Most recently he served as a rabbi at Baltimore’s Beth Tfiloh Congregation, and is currently a student at the University of Baltimore School of Law. His book, Ai Vey! Jewish Thought on Thinking Machines, is challenging and insightful as to how we grapple spiritually with the increased complexity of artificial intelligence.
