Home Health Quality Reporting Program Provider Training
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be hosting a 2-day training event on March 5 and 6, 2019 in Baltimore, MD. The training will start at 8:00 a.m. ET and end at 5:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 5. On Wednesday, March 6, training will start at 8:00 a.m. ET and end at 3:45 p.m. ET.
This Home Health (HH) Quality Reporting Program (QRP) Provider Training is open to all home health providers, associations, and organizations.
The primary focus of this 'Train-the-Trainer' event will be to provide those responsible for training home health agency staff with information about the HH QRP and associated changes between the OASIS-C2 and the OASIS-D which became effective, January 1, 2019. Topics will include Section J: Health Conditions, Section GG: Functional Abilities and Goals, the Pressure Ulcer/Injury Quality Measure (M1311), and the Drug Regimen Review Quality Measure. This training will also include an interactive session on the use of reports to identify opportunities for process improvement and utilize information contained in reports available via the Certification And Survey Provider Enhanced Reports (CASPER) system to develop quality improvement plans.
