Feeding Our Neighbors is a community meal series designed to bring people together around the table. Whether you live on the block, in the neighborhood, or across the city, you’re invited to come share food, conversation, and connection with others.
Each month, we host a free meal sometimes a potluck, sometimes catered, sometimes cooked and served by volunteers or guest partners. No two dinners look exactly the same, but every one is grounded in the same belief: food builds community, and everyone deserves a seat at the table.
There is no cost. Just show up hungry physically or socially, and we’ll take care of the rest. Families, children, elders, and individuals of all backgrounds are welcome. You can attend, bring a dish if you’d like, serve as a volunteer, or simply spend the evening laughing, eating, and meeting new people.
Beyond the meal, Feeding Our Neighbors is a way for us to build trust, deepen relationships, and strengthen the ties that make 29th street a place where everyone belongs. It’s about neighbors supporting neighbors, not only with food on the table, but with care, encouragement, and presence.
Pull up. Bring a friend. Make a friend.
We can’t wait to feed the city, one table at a time.
