Evergreen Museum & Library is housed in a Gilded Age mansion surrounded by 26 acres of gardens and woods. The museum is home to a renowned collection of fine and decorative arts, rare books, and manuscripts assembled by two generations of Baltimore’s civic-minded Garrett family (1878-1952). Through guided tours, visitors can explore the history of the Garretts, their extraordinary collections, and Evergreen’s transformation from a country villa to a historic house museum.
Evergreen Museum & Library adheres to all Johns Hopkins University COVID-19 policies. Masks are optional on all tours and programs.

Due to the historical nature of the building, accessibility is limited, and some parts of the museum can only be reached via stairs
