She has been named a fellow of the American Academy in Rome, a Guggenheim Fellow, and a MacArthur Fellow. In addition to Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey, she has also published translations of Sophocles, Euripides, and Seneca. She lives in Philadelphia.About the Moderator:Karen ní Mheallaigh is Andrew W. Mellon Professor in the Humanities and Professor of Classics at Johns Hopkins University.
