Visitors are invited to weave baskets from foraged ivy, co-create experimental song circles, journal, have conversation, take home a plant, and add their dreams to the growing collection of “dreamseeds.”

Meet Hannah weekly on Fridays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for drop-in ivy basket weaving, zine-making, and journaling, and from 3-4:30 p.m. for a Gather Together meet up for survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence.

Join Sanahara Ama Chandra on Saturdays from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. for song circles, card readings, and conversation.

About Dreamseeds

Sanahara Ama Chandra is a singer, nurse, and mama of two who practices sound healing and energy clearing practices. Grounded in a decade of anti-sexual violence activism, Hannah Brancato creates textiles and public rituals that bring stories together. Meeting in the healing power of art, together, Hannah and Ama’s interdisciplinary creative practice enacts ways to move from isolation to collective experiences.

About the BMA Lexington Market Artist-in-Residence Program

The Baltimore Museum of Art at Lexington Market (BMA LM) Artist-in-Residence Program places six artists within one of Baltimore’s most historically layered public spaces. The program invites artists to serve as both practitioners and public-facing cultural hosts, contributing to an evolving conversation around art, community, and the role of institutions and public spaces in Baltimore City.
