🎭 Playtime Is Over — It’s Storytime

Before there was gospel radio… before there was Kirk Franklin… there was Charles Albert Tindley — a poor boy from Maryland who taught himself to read and rose to become a pastor, composer, and church builder. He gave us songs like “We’ll Understand It Better By and By” and “Stand by Me.”

On Saturday, Sept. 20 at 3:00 PM, Mt. Zion celebrates our 145th Anniversary with Nothing Between My Soul and My Savior — a three-act dinner theater bringing Tindley’s story to life.

This isn’t just history. It’s our heritage. And if we don’t tell our story, who will?
