- **Event Description**: ​You have already done Intro to Musical Improv, so this class assumes you know the basics and are ready to get even more creative!

​In this class, you revisit song structures and learn a grand opening. Practice songs with more melodic and rhythmic options, and lyrics that truly move the story forward. You'll initiate song structures in the moment rather than following a preset order.

​Across four sessions leading into a showcase, you'll get individual notes on singing, characters, story clarity, patterns, and support choices to build fuller scenes and songs. For scenes, practice taking the time to develop your characters and even expand the world with walk-ons and background characters.

​With a new more free form story format, the Hero's Journey, you can go anywhere staging the biggest and boldest musical yet!

​Schedule: x 4 Sundays 4:00-7:00pm 5/10/26 through 5/31/26

​Class Showcase on 6/7 at 6pm

​Experience Level: Must have completed Intro to Musical Improv and Improv 101
