These events are FREE and held once a month, with each gathering offering something new!Our upcoming event will take place at 11 am, Saturday, August 29th, at the Community Hall in the Ruscombe.Back by popular demand! ? This month, we’re bringing back two of our community favorites: Kemetic Yoga and Sound Bath Healing, led by artist, wellness practitioner, and Kemetic yoga instructor Michele Blu ().As summer comes to a close, this month’s gathering will focus on recentering and balance. It’s an opportunity to slow down, relax, and reconnect with yourself before the busyness of everyday life picks back up. Whether you’re looking for a moment of stillness, a chance to release some stress, or simply a meaningful way to close out the summer, this space is for you. ?✨What is Kemetic yoga?Kemetic Yoga is an Ancient Egyptian system of yoga based on enlightenment through physical movement, controlled deep breathing, and meditation. It is a healing and regenerative system that uses a series of geometrically progressive postures to create alignment of the spinal column, relieve stress, increase blood circulation, and allow energy and cerebral spinal fluid to flow more efficiently throughout the body. Kemetic Yoga also encourages self-development, healing of the mind-body-spirit, and self-discovery.How does sound healing work?Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the therapeutic sounds of crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, and other resonant instruments, promoting deep relaxation and balance.Whether you’ve joined us for yoga or a sound bath before, or this will be your first time, you are welcome in this space!??‍♀️ What to BringBlanketPillow (up to 2, for knees or head)Comfortable activewearWater bottleSmall towelAnything that makes you comfortable!Yoga mats will be provided, but if you feel more comfortable using your own, feel free to bring that too!☕?
