The BARCS Dog Wedding Gala is back—and this year’s celebration of love, laughter, and lifesaving magic is bigger (and furrier) than ever. We’re moving to The Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, a stunning new venue with more room for guests, incredible acoustics, and its very own attached parking garage (a small miracle in Baltimore!).
💍 Meet the 2026 Newlyweds: Rooney & Wendell!
Rooney was rescued by BARCS after being found emaciated and neglected—her sweet face melting hearts the moment she met her moms and BARCS fosters, The Laurens.
Wendell was one of more than 80 “Cake” dogs saved from an illegal breeding and neglect case. With help from BARCS’ medical team and the love of his family, Cyndi and Erik Kuhn, Wendell made a full recovery and is now living his best (and fluffiest) life.
This isn’t just a celebration of love—it’s a lifesaving fundraiser for the thousands of homeless, injured, and abused animals who come through BARCS’ doors each year. Every ticket and sponsorship helps provide medical care, shelter, and second chances to pets who need them most.
All tickets are all-inclusive—enjoy unlimited cocktails, a grazing-style appetizer hour, full dinner, dancing, and wedding cake to celebrate the newlyweds.
