TASTER CLASS
Need a refresher on the basic steps? Then join our guest teachers Jodi and Joel for a taster class from 2:00-2:30PM. We will then continue with live music and social dancing until 5:00pm.


ABOUT THE BAND
The BRYO Jazz Ensemble is part of Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra (BRYO), a vibrant youth music organisation bringing together talented musicians aged 8–28 from across Brisbane and surrounding regions. Known for their energetic sound and love of classic jazz styles, the ensemble delivers swinging rhythms, lively melodies, and dance-floor favourites guaranteed to keep dancers moving all afternoon. Combining youthful energy with a passion for jazz tradition, the BRYO Jazz Ensemble creates an exciting live music experience for both dancers and listeners alike.


OTHER STUFF
*Due to the nature of live music and our favourite wooden flooring in dance halls, please consider bringing ear protection if noise is an issue for you. Although not amplified, 15-20 musicians all playing at the same time can create a high level of noise.

**Due to the costs associated with hiring a live band, and hall hire etc, there will not be concession or student ticket prices. If this cost is prohibitive to your attendance at the event please reach out to Monique at Swing Patrol for a confidential chat!**
