We are pleased to invite breastfeeding advocates, supporters, LCGB members, subscribers, and anyone with an interest in supporting lactation to join us for the upcoming North Scotland LCGB Regional Meeting on Sunday, 19 April.

This meeting is open to everyone interested in lactation support. You do not need to be an LCGB member to attend, and we warmly welcome those who are curious about the work of LCGB or looking to connect with others in lactation.

If you would like to attend, please write "form" in the comments or DM Breastfeed Scotland.

After submitting the form, you will receive an email with the address of our Inverurie meeting location (subject to change on number of attendees). Please check your inbox shortly before the meeting for the details.

About LCGB Network Groups

LCGB Network Groups are a wonderful way to connect with others who share a commitment to lactation support. You can join any network group that is accessible to you, and you are welcome to participate in as many groups as you wish.

Network Groups are open to LCGB full members, associate members, and aspiring IBCLCs.

What Happens at a Regional Meeting?

Meetings are informal, collaborative, and shaped by the group. Agendas often include:

* Introductions from members and discussion of their professional roles
* A volunteer taking meeting minutes
*Discussion of ideas for short presentations, case studies, guest speakers, or study days/seminars
*Opportunities to discuss professional experiences, questions, or challenges
*Conversations about regional policies, strategies, and developments in lactation support
*Contributing to reviews, consultations, and documents that LCGB is involved with (e.g. NICE, IBLCE, ILCA)
*A supportive space for mentoring and peer support, including for those preparing for the IBLCE exam or those newly certified
*A Collaborative Group

Regional meetings are a shared effort, and everyone attending contributes to the smooth running and organisation of the group.

Where possible, LCGB asks groups to take a group photo during the meeting, which may be shared on the LCGB website or newsletter, along with a short summary of the group’s activities.
