Join Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust and Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council for a hands-on event dedicated to improving the grasslands at Waterfoot. Together, we'll tackle the scrub that's been taking over our beautiful grasslands. This in-person event will be a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow nature enthusiasts and make a positive impact on our local environment.

Gorse and bramble are beginning to encroach in the paddock so need to be cut back to help maintain the grassland. We will be using handsaws and loppers to cut the plants back. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy boots (walking/work boots or wellies).

Unfortunately, our four-legged friends will not be able to join this venture as there are cattle in the field.

We will provide all necessary equipment including gloves. 

Meet at 10:30 Waterfoot Beach car park.
