Valentine Rennie was born at Cushendall in 1795, and he was to become the last great Irish Harper of the Georgian era.
His story is a compelling one. He was a relation of poet Robert Burns, and he played for the King of England.
During his very busy life he was one of the acclaimed entertainers of his era.
Belfast local historian and tour guide Mark Doherty brings Valentine Rennie back home to the Glens to tell of his fascinating life.
Join us on Friday 21st November at 7.30 pm in Tir na N’Og Centre (Formerly Mace) on Shore Street Cushendall.
