KICK OFF THE BLUES NEW YEAR.
On Saturday 3 January 2026 we are delighted to have Kane & Co, formally BOWANA return to the BT Blues Club. Doors open 3pm and early reservation for tickets is strongly advised.
Formally Bowana, a very popular local band based in Portrush.
Kane & Co have three of the original members and the new boy is Mr Chris Probst.
David Kane lead singer and rhythm guitar and original member of Bowana, returned from playing all around the world, with the original Kane & Co which was basically a country rock band. Dave played with many of the Nashvilles great Country singers to include Don Williams, George Hamilton 4th. and many more at various festivals across Europe.
On bass guitar is Mr Roe Butcher a founding member of Bowana, but also one of the driving forces behind the xdreamists and the mighty Shamrocks then with the Henry McCullagh Band - Roe is a bass player of the highest quality and a great personality on stage.
On lead Guitar is Mr Chris Probst he was also a member of the extremists and he played alongside Roe in the Henry McCullough band. Still making that old axe sing
On drums is Mr Willis Beckett an exceptionally gifted drummer who has been involved with many bands all over the world, starting his career at the Coleraine boathouse with the local boys of the time.
