# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Wild Clay! Closing Reception & Silent Auction
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 05:00 pm – Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 09:00 pm (-04:00)
- **Event Description**: Join us for a celebratory evening marking the end of An Expedition in Wild Clay — a five-month community adventure to find, process, and fire clay dug right from the ground in our area!

The Main Street Studio gallery will be filled with fired clay pieces made by our community of expeditioners — from kids' first pinch pots and wobbly first attempts to beautiful works by some of our most talented local ceramic artists. Every piece was made from wild clay dug right here in the fields and stream banks of western Saratoga County and fired in a primitive kiln built by hand.

All pieces will be available in a silent auction — a fundraiser for Main Street Studio, the community craft studio that made this expedition possible. Whether you want to take home a piece of this unique community project or simply come to celebrate what we've built together, we'd love to see you there.

The evening will also feature live music by Studio Blue — Charlton's own jazz and swing band. 🎷

Free to attend. Open to the public.
