Set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as "The Bard". When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing, and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz.

Something Rotten! JR. features large song and dance numbers and a wacky cast of over-the-top characters, each given their own special moment in the show to shine. There are 130 students participating in the cast and crew of this production.

Launching Pad Productions performs Something Rotten! JR. on February 5, 6, and 7 at 7:00 pm and February 7 and 8 at 12:00 pm at the Ballston Spa High School Auditorium, 220 Ballston Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY. Tickets are $5.00 for students and senior citizens and $10 for adults.
