- **Event Description**: #Dubrun2k26 - Coming this Winter '26!  It's that time again! Our epic road trip from JHB - KZN is getting ready to go! It's a special one too! 40 years of the VW Club, 75 Years of Volkswagen South Africa and 50 Years of Golf GTi!  Join us on this journey whether you drive a Dub or not! If any Joburgers are heading down to the Gas Motorshow - join our convoy down 😃   For those who haven't been on one before - below is a breakdown of the run per day.   Thursday 11 June -  We will be meeting at a secret location for one of the highlights of Dubrun - the TapeUp. Here we will prepare our rides for the journey and collect registration packs, which will have tape, official Dubrun merchandise, and some other goodies. Go mad on your theme with vinyl, blue painter's tape, or anything else you can imagine to make your ride stand out on this years run. Prizes will be awarded for the best taped up cars!  If you, your company, would like to sponsor a prize, vouchers, or goodies to go in our packs, please DM us on FB, and your sponsors' logos will adorn DubRun '26 shirts as usual and we'll punt your business on our social media channels leading up to the run.  Friday 12 June -  Early Friday morning, we'll meet at the Petroport on the N3 South (near Heidelberg) at 5AM and depart at 6AM. The biggest and best convoy in the country will then head to Harrismith, where we will stop for refreshment and a welcome stretch of the legs. Those from the Freestate/KZN fraternity who would like to meet us here can expect us to arrive around 9:30/10AM, depending on how the traffic flows. We finish the drive entering Durban, where the rest of the day will be at your leisure. No final end point in Durban, although most Dubbers like to book accommodation Ballito side of KZN.  Saturday 13 June - We have a little something special planned for KZN and JHB crews. Followed by an evening out at Beach Bums ! Come enjoy a sundowner cocktail, dinner and some party vibes and make some new Dubber friends for life!   Sunday 14 June -  Tickets are still available for the Gas Motorshow.
