You are invited!
Please join us on Friday 20th June from 5:30pm to 8:00pm for our Midwinter Community Celebration. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with community members young and old!
Perhaps you are new to town, perhaps you’ve lived in Skipton your entire life, it doesn’t matter; all are welcome for a family friendly evening of connection and community.
The evening will feature a black and white photographic exhibition by local artist, Pat Gabb and live music from Liam Baker. A light supper will be provided to ward off the winter chill.
As many of you will know, Pat has been busy photographing members of the Skipton & District community for the past several months. There will be photographs of more than 300 individuals on display, providing an engaging and historical snapshot of our community in 2025. This is the perfect opportunity to get out of the house on a cold midwinter’s evening and celebrate our wonderful community. Photographs will be available to be taken home from 7:30pm onwards.
We are excited to welcome local musician Liam Baker, who will be performing from 6pm to 7:30pm. There will be a short break at 7pm for speeches and acknowledgements.
This is a FREE family-friendly event, open to all. We sincerely encourage you to come along, reconnect with old friends and make some new ones, too.
This project has been made possible due to funding by the Skipton Progress Association, the Skipton Community Shop and the Skipton Historical Society.
Should you wish to contribute to future projects, there will be a donation box available on the night.
